An
enthusiastic Dan-fan, radio innovator Bill Ward was President
of Golden West Broadcasting
when he met Dan at the KSCA studios in 1994. Bill passed away
unexpectedly in 2004.
Bill's son, Cameron Ward, asked Dan & The Hot Licks to play
at Bill's memorial service
at the Autry Museum of Western Heritage in Los Angeles, which
they gladly did.
The webmasters of this site were fortunate to spend a little
time with Bill in
Los Angeles. He was one of the most outgoing and caring people
we've ever met.
