Subject: Dan in Kirkland, WA
From: Rich Donnelly

After months of anticipation, Dan came to the greater Seattle area for a very high-tone show at the Kirkland Performance Center. It was part of a subscriber series. I can't recall ever seeing Dan with an intermission before! But hey, they had to take a break so the center could sell memberships, wine by the glass, an array of good beers, etc. etc. I kept thinking this is a little too classy for a Dan show, but his chameleon-like persona was up to the challenge.

Well, maybe that's pushing it a bit. He was just as wacko, surly, funny as ever. He seemed a bit tired but that didn't stop him from the dance number with the Lickettes, the pseudo-solo on the guitar. It was a fun night.
